In order to understand what the Lord has done for me, you must first know what He has delivered me from. Growing up, my family was always involved heavily with whatever church we were attending at the time. After moving from Texas to North Carolina, we joined a church, which we attended for several years. Pastor Rodney visited this church one night, and I was baptized in the Holy Ghost and went home laughing with the joy.

Several years went by and my family moved again, to the beaches of NC. We moved to a very small town where there were only a handful of churches. We quickly learned that none of them were spirit?filled. As we all led this search for an on fire church, our own fires dwindled. Soon, we did not go to any church at all.

For around the next eight years I was a back?slidden Christian. During this time many troubles occurred, including my parents getting divorced. I slipped further and further into the world. At a young age, I used drugs and alcohol and began partying. At the age of sixteen I was attending nightclubs and lying to my parents regularly.

When I went off to college, I only got worse. My life became a constant blur of parties and drinking. During all of my struggles, my sister was praying for me to come back to the Lord. At the time, I knew I had once been saved, but I no longer knew if I would go to Heaven.

I grew up in church all my life and at the age of 16 I decided I wanted to try things on my own. By the age of 23 I had been living a life trying to find my own pleasures, anything that would make me happy. I can remember one night I was getting off of a shift of bartending at 5:30 A.M. Sunday morning and thinking to myself “I think I want to go to church today”. So I went to church and as soon as they started playing the first song I knew right away that this is what I was missing.

3 years of working out my salvation went by until I answered the call to go to a Bible school in Oklahoma. When I was almost finished with that school I knew that I was supposed to go to a school for worship but I didn’t know where. Dr Rodney came to a town close by and I went one of the nights and as soon as he said that they had a worship school my Spirit man just about jumped out of my belly to get one of the pamphlets. I knew that the River School of Worship was the next step for me and this is where I was to learn the flow of the Holy Spirit in worship. So I finished out the school in Oklahoma and came to the River…Justin S.

I had been attending The River for a few months prior to the start of RBI, thanks to The Great Awakening. I received a scholarship from Pastor Rodney one night after sharing my testimony of being radically set free from crack addiction while watching from my home one night. The changes since that night had been monumental, but the first weeks of RBI revival brought a much deeper level in my relationship with the Lord and a greater awareness of the Holy Ghost!

The week prior to school, I lost my job. Since I am a single mother of three children this was a huge concern in the natural, but somehow I kept feeling an amazing sense of peace. If I had been working, I would not have been able to be at revival. With all of my bills due, and other needs screaming at us, I greatly awaited my last paycheck for 2 weeks of work! It came one day in the mail and I picked it up on the way to service. I was in service and during the offering God spoke to me and told me to go get my paycheck out of the car and sow it in the offering.

I ran out to the car and signed the back of the check and dropped it in the bucket. The next day, he told me to give the ring diamond ring my son had given me for Christmas. This was my alabaster box. God spoke to me and said, “Your paycheck was your security, and your ring represented your heart, now I have all of you which is what I require!” For me this is huge, because I come from lack. God has broken me. He wants to know that He is first and that I will trust in Him! I don’t know how He is going to come through, but I know He will!

This is the beginning days of great testimonies, of what the Lord is doing in me.  So far what has happened is in one word “Freedom”. I’m being freed up from religion, tradition and rituals.  In the whole time I’ve been saved I’ve never heard a teaching on ritualism.  Always been taught, “you better put the whole armor of God on every day and I did, including all the other stuff!  Never taught that I never take if off!   So why do I have to put it back on?  That teaching alone, so, freed me up, more ways than one. I received these revelations whole heartedly and immediately put them into practice.

Pastor Daniel McGhee gave a message on “Freedom” last Thursday evening.  WOW!  That message was for me!  I went down under the power of God and shook nations; let alone myself being shaken from one end to the other, inside out.  The Holy Ghost is freeing me up going down to the very “V” and cleaning those places out, even with a divine tooth-pick!  LOL   Man, I felt like I just got out of a boxing ring with the devil.  I got so angry laying on that carpet – I was killing giants one after another.  When I got up I felt exhausted.  But when it came to announcing the winner – both my hands were up, Praising Jesus.  Hallelujah!   The violent take it by force.

I know this is the Holy Ghost boot camp, it’ll be tough; but I’m pressing in these next three years (to life!) to be forever changed from glory to glory for His Glory.  Thank you Pastor Rodney and Adonica for the privilege of being trained to flow with the Holy Ghost; making soul winning a lifestyle with passion; living in the Fire of God and having an intimate relationship with Jesus.

I am so glad to be here in the school. It is getting even better. Until I came to Tampa, I felt almost like a Muslim-Christian. Just lately I have been feeling the freedom and flow of the Spirit. Even after finishing the first year of school. I guess it takes a while to be detoxed spiritually! Pretty much up to that time I was religious and doctrineted properly. Even after the first year I was still not very open to the flow and the move of God. Over the summer break and God’s continuous work in my heart I came hungry and thirsty for this school year. Especially the first week of school was awesome. Even the introduction of pastors was enough to smack me!

We moved Tampa to basically to come to school. There is not any reason for us to live here other than the River really. But after being here it is more than enough reason to stay here! I often feel like about the school and church that i have found a treasure chest and want to share with everyone. We are telling our loved ones to come and even just sit under this ministry for a week and see what we are talking about. It is so precious to me. I thank God for such man and women of God and their impact in our lives. Not only by teaching in the class but every way they live and conduct their lives. I have lot to learn from them.Thank God that he kept them for such a time like this and for us. I am so excited to see and receive what God has for me this year. i go to school with expectation every day. He has still a lot of work to do in me. You never know what will take place that day. Even just last thursday the Spirit of giving broke out and everyone was obedient to God. Some people even broke their alabaster box. I am looking forward to see might things happen this year in students life….. Hicran M.

I wanted to share about what the Great Awakening meetings have meant to me personally and some of the things that I have seen God do in me and for me since the beginning of the year.  One of the greatest things that I can say that has happened in me is there has been a deeper level in my walk with Jesus that has come alive to me. 

I have seen such an increase in the anointing and what God is using me to do has been simply amazing.  It us all for His glory that I am able to be used.  I personally have experienced a miracle in my own life during the course of these meetings.  I have been believing God to eliminate some debt so that I would be able to do my internship next year through RBI.  There were 5 major debts that I was facing.  Since the beginning of the year I have seen God multiply funds and have seen 3 of those 5 debts eliminated and the others are very close. 

I am so humbled and yet excited for what God has done.  I owe Him so much and I am grateful every day for the love and the mercy that He has shown on my life.  I am looking forward to the amazing things that God is about to do in me and through me in the coming days, weeks, and months.  It is a journey that I am looking forward to taking. -Darrell G

The fire of God is burning hot at the river at Tampa Bay, the winter camp meeting brought pastors and people from all over the world .we are just starting to see the effects of the television programming that the Holy Spirit Pastor Rodney and Bob DeAndre have come up with. I myself have been touched in a great and mighty way during the meetings.

Awesome is the only word that comes close to describing what the Lord has been doing in and through people who have been attending, not only those in attendance but those watching by way of television. I have been winning souls on my job, it is really nice because I work delivery and I am able to come across a lot of different people while at work. I have been able to pray with over one hundred twenty five people just on my job! Now I am starting another job where I am going door to door, and if I cannot sell them my product I sell them on Jesus! Glory to God! This is the most amazing time to be alive and in the middle of what God is doing here at the river at Tampa Bay.

I am loving R.M.I. school and everybody in school with me. We are all on fire for God and we are going to shake Tampa Bay and nations for the Lord Jesus Christ! Well that’s it for this week, I missed my blog last week cause I was drunk at winter camp meeting.LOL oh well it was worth it. -Marty L

It has been amazing to see what God is doing throughout the services in the Great Awakening Meetings here in Tampa, Fl. The power and presence of God has been so strong in the meetings! I have been involved in the production team throughout some of the meetings. The production team from CTN has come in and has given great advice to me as a director on how to improve the quality of our broadcast. They have been very gracious and a pleasure to learn from and work with. I have learned so much about TV broadcasting and how to run a professional TV studio and set. 

It is exciting to help in making the broadcast available throughout the world! This broadcast is impacting so many lives! The people watching will call the phone number on the TV and get impacted with the fire of God.  The phones were ringing off the hook! Then the operators were praying the fire of God down. People were getting saved, set free, delivered and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Some people just wanted to know more about soul winning. With soul winning classes during the week, people are going out every day to win the lost at any cost. I personally have been challenged to be a witness to more people where ever I go and live a life style of soul winning. And this is only the beginning of what God wants to do! We will see America shaken!-Emily P.

It has been amazing so far!! I have had awesome opportunities to serve in the calling center. It has been really great. I had so many calls last night from people just desperate for a touch from God. Many called in to be filled with the fire of God and receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Every person who called in and asked for that, got filled! It was such a blessing to me because God had never really used me in that way before. Then I also had a call from a lady in India who made me cry. She got filled and then she was crying too and saying how thankful she was for this ministry. She said that there are many places out there who do not teach the truth of God’s Word. She was very appreciative. It just blessed my heart to hear that. On Tuesday, I got back to the River and Pastor Adonica was preaching. I literally just felt the presence of God just overtake me and sweep away all of the garbage I had been feeling. It is just a different atmosphere here, and when I went back home to CA, I could see how things were just totally different and I felt discouraged, especially because several people were not receptive to what I’ve been learning here. I felt a heaviness on me, almost like an oppression, and Pastor Adonica prayed against that specifically. When she mentioned about how she would struggle with depression, I could relate to that in my own life. I felt comforted.

Then on Friday we had the honor to hear a message from Pastor Mike Petzer and he said how we are already perfect in Christ Jesus. I know that message transformed a lot of lives, because often times we think of ourselves as pathetic, worthless sinners that are not good enough for God to love. I also learned that we have not just been forgiven, but we have been washed…so those things are no longer any part of us AT ALL! We have been made free.-Gloria C.

The Great Awakening has greatly impacted my life… I will start by saying that I was radically saved, set free and delivered at a Great Awakening service in my hometown 2 years ago. So everything that has happened in my life since then is fruit from the Great Awakening Tour! I not only was saved at the meeting but also learned how to win souls! I never thought I would have been able to win souls but the Gospel Soul Winning Script made it so simple! I have now led hundreds to the Lord! Praise God!

We are now in the middle of one of the greatest outpourings of the Holy Spirit! The Great Awakening is amazing! I feel like this is exactly what I was made for! I have been working the call center the past couple nights and have seen the fire of God fall every night! People are being healed and saved right over the phones! God is so good! I would like to thank Mr. Bob from CTN for putting the services on Live every night across the United States!

God is moving mightily and people are being impacted by this more than we could ever imagine! The cool thing is that people from churches all over the world are learning how to win souls! It is so hard to put all this in words… What is happening right now will be put in the history books! We are living out the book of Acts on a day to day basis! Thanks  -Kenneth C.
