God’s Holy Spirit

Just yesterday I think I was prompted by God’s Holy Spirit to pray for specific things, in a very focused way, to finish out the year, accompanied by some fasting. So I started writing in today about it. One of those prayer requests was so that I could have a highly successful business that I just started as of Nov. 2nd. Well… TODAY, just 17 short days later, I received my very first bonus check in the mail! That made me feel so good! But I’m not finished, yet. Thank you, God. Thank you, prayer team and God Bless!

Agreement in Prayer

Just last week, I started a precision prayer assault on heaven for certain things that I’m believing God for. I’m going to do this prayer assault throughout the remainder of the year. Also I have been sending in these prayer requests online to The River so that prayer warriors could stand in agreement with me. One of the things I’m believing God for is the salvation of my husband. Well twice since I started this last week, my husband has said that he loves God. He also has said that God takes good care of us.

Tulsa Crusade

I went into a nursing home in Tulsa and there was an 83 yr old gentleman who was saying the prayer of salvation. When I got to the part where I asked him to repeat ” and I forgive anyone that has ever harmed me” he said ” I forgive everyone except my wife.” I explained to him what the bible says about forgiveness and that if he wanted God to forgive his sins he needed to forgive all those who had sinned against him. The gentleman hesitated and then said “and I forgive everyone who has ever harmed me including my wife.” He had tears in his eyes as he finished the prayer. I felt that he was angry with his wife for placing him in the nursing home.

Great Awakening Tour City #19 Louisville, Kentucky

I am on fire to win the lost since the great awakening tour in Louisville, the total people I have lead to the lord is 75, plus I did a training for my church and took a group of our member’s out for 1 hour and 17 people gave their life to the lord, I am doing another training this Saturday and Sunday and team’s will go out each day, I ask the Lord to not let one day go by without me leading someone to the Lord, I am so thankful that I got to attend the great awakening tour in Louisville Ky November 14 through the 16, my life has not been the same, and I look forward to coming to Florida in December or the January rivival. In my whole life up until that meeting in the past 25 years I had led only 3 People to the Lord that is great, but after recieving the script now I have lead at least 30 to the Lord and Praise God I am not stopping now that I know how. Prayer

For over 2 weeks now, I have been mercilessly submitting my prayer requests for my new business to prosper, among other things. And last night, I got that message that there’s a minimum payment due on my credit card (from using it to make that investment). So I just gave it to God and I told him out loud something like, “OK, God, I’m holding you to your Word.” Well, guess what I just got in the mail? A nice, fat check for fifty big smackeroos! It may not sound like much, but I am totally stoked! Thanks to the River people for putting up with me, and thank you, God!!! I would also like to thank God for His grace upon me. I need it. “While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.” Psalm 146:2

Prayer

I really needed a lot of favor with my pastor’s wife because, so far, I hadn’t been allowed to sing anything that I’d written. So I’d been sending in those prayer requests – I needed a lot of extra UMPH! (I always will.) Well my friends… last night I told the pastor’s wife she’s gonna love it, we sang it, and we will now be singing and performing one of the songs that I WROTE – yes that’s right – next Wednesday night!!! Give Hillsong my regards.

Great Awakening Tour City #20 North Miami Beach, Florida

On Friday the 14th Pastor Rodney asked for all those that would volunteer the following day to go witness with the teams to come forward. Before praying he said for us to think of the number of souls we wanted to reach. Instead of thinking of a number, I asked the Holy Spirit to give me a number, and He gave me the number 28. I agreed with Pastor and went home. The following day we went to visit a nursing home. At the end when we looked at the count, I noticed that we had spoken to 33 with 27 conversions and 1 rejection. As I was leaving, I said, “Lord, I can’t believe you’ll let me leave this place without meeting the number the Holy Spirit gave me last night. Please Lord, help me reach one more person for your kingdom. Just at the edge of the nursing home, about 2 feet away from the boundary there was a man in a wheel chair, and good to His word, the Lord helped me to lead the man to repentance. There was also an elderly lady that had lost her mind and kept repeating “nazareth, bayamon” which are the names of two different cities. As we entered the room the attending nurse told us that we were going to loose our time because she had lost her mind and didn’t understand anything. To prove her point she walked over to the patient and for over 2 minutes tried to make her say another word. Finally she succeeded and the patient repeated the word once, then went back to repeating “nazareth, bayamon.” Suddenly a boldness rose up in me; I walked over to her, looked down at her bed and said, “repeat with me, Jesus, forgive me of my sins, I repent. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Cleanse me with your blood.” To the nurse’s amazement, she repeated every single word I told her. By the way, when I approached her, her eyes were crooked and she had a “glassy” look in her eyes. However, as soon as I said “Jesus,” her entire completion changed, her eyes became straight and she looked at me straight into my eyes as she repeated the words. I’m eternally thankful to the Lord and how he’s using Pastor Rodney to light a fire inside of us. Since the awakening, I no longer look at people the same, everyone I look at now I see them as someone that God loves and is going to hell unless we intervene. I know it is our responsibility to reach a lost and dying world. If we don’t, no one else will. There is literally a fire inside of me that is continually consuming me and the only way I can appease it is by witnessing to people. Not only is this happening to me, but two of my three sons have also caught the fire and are witnessing to their peers at school and work. My four years old grand-daughter prays for her older sister (6 years old) and says, “fire” and all they want to do is talk about the Lord. They were also deeply touched at the revival. May our Lord continue using Pastor Rodney and the team as He has here in South Florida.

Foundation Scriptures: Genesis 1:26
God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

1. The lost sense of the Eternal.

Many people habitually think and act as if there is no eternity to consider

• James 2:12 AMP – So speak and so act as [people should] who are to be judged under the law of liberty [the moral instruction given by Christ, especially about love].
• 2 Peter 3:12-13 AMP – While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the [material] elements [of the universe] will flare and melt with fire? 13 But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide.
• Isaiah 40:6-8 NKJV – The voice said, “Cry out!” And he said, “What shall I cry?” “All flesh is grass, And all its loveliness is like the flower of the field. 7 The grass withers, the flower fades, Because the breath of the LORD blows upon it; Surely the people are grass. 8 The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.”
• James 4:14 AMP – Yet you do not know [the least thing] about what may happen tomorrow. What is the nature of your life? You are [really] but a wisp of vapor (a puff of smoke, a mist) that is visible for a little while and then disappears [into thin air].
• Psalm 39:4 AMP – Lord, make me to know my end and [to appreciate] the measure of my days–what it is; let me know and realize how frail I am [how transient is my stay here].

2. According to God’s Word, one of our main aims in this life is to prepare for the Next.

3.  A steward’s primary goal is to be found faithful by his Master as he uses the Master’s resources to accomplish the tasks delegated to him.
    

• God is the Master — We are the Steward.
• Ownership:
• God owns everything
• We are the custodians of what He has placed in our care. We are to wisely administer and expand the Master’s estate.

Power:

• All power is His.
• We are accountable to Him.

Trust:

• He entrusts us with possessions, authority and responsibilities.
• We are expected to be faithful with what we are given.

Expectations:

• He expects us to do what He asks and do what we can.
• We are to work and be industrious – to give our best and do our best for Him. 

Absence:

• He is like the Master who went on a journey — He has left His estate in His servant’s hands—that’s you and me.
• We must use wisdom as we invest the Master’s wealth and manage His estate.

Return:

• He will return—it will be unannounced.
• We should be always ready and waiting for His return.

Generosity:

• The Lord is extremely generous.
• We should never take Him for granted. Fear the Master and appreciate His blessings.

Standards:

• God has set standards for us that are non-negotiable —there are no grey areas.
• We should be single-minded in service. We will give an individual account to God for our own words and deeds.

4. Things we must seriously consider:

• The long term significance of today’s behavior and choices (ours).
• The inevitability of consequences for all of our choices and actions.
• The weightiness of our responsibility to choose wisely and live rightly.
• We have clear cut incentives and motivations—our eternal treasure and crowns.
• We should place more importance on, and be more focused on, our responsibilities than our rights. Our obedience is more important and more fruitful than our temporary happiness. 
• N.B. Anyone else’s evaluation of the steward, compared to the judgment of the one and only Master, is meaningless. We are here to please the Master. No one else’s opinion means anything, or counts for anything, at all.

• 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Jesus walked into the wedding in Cana of Galilee and

what did they need there? They had run out of wine. His turning

the water into wine was a miracle, to be sure, but it wasn’t essential.

Nobody’s life depended upon the miracle. He was just showing

His glory. He was manifesting His power. John 2:11 says,

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and

manifested forth his glory.

You ask, “What is Jesus doing in the meetings you conduct?”

Quite simply, He’s doing what He’s always done. He’s just

showing forth His glory and meeting the needs — big and small

— of the people. Jesus walked into that wedding feast and was

pushed into that miracle by His mother. He turned the water into

wine to manifest His glory and meet the need.

What does that tell you? It tells you that Jesus wants to

bless you. He is interested in the smallest details of your life. He

wants to take care of you. He wants to meet your every need, just

like He did for the disciples in Mark 4:35-41. Jesus is sleeping in

the back of the boat as He and His disciples are taking a cruise

across the lake. Alas, a storm arises and the waves roll and the

winds howl The disciples are afraid and they run back and awaken

Jesus.

What happened when Jesus showed up? He commanded,

“Peace, be still!” and the wind obeyed.

I want you to know, He can still calm the storms in your

life! It doesn’t matter what your storm looks like. It doesn’t matter

what you’re facing. Jesus still calms the storm for you.

You might think, “Well, maybe He’s sleeping in the back

of the boat. Then why don’t you just go lie down at the back of

the boat with Him and take a nap too? As long as He’s sleeping,

you can rest too. He’ll calm the storm for you.

After calming the storm,

Jesus and the disciples came to the country of the Gadarenes

where a man with an unclean spirit met Him. (See Mark 5:1-6.)

The devils possessing the man took one look at Jesus and said,

“Uh- oh, we have to go! We can’t stay here anymore! Where can

we go? Oh, there’s a bunch of swine; let’s go into those swine.”

The devils know they can’t stay around when Jesus walks in the

door.

In Matthew 9:2-8, He

walked up to a man with palsy and said, “Your sins are forgiven

you,” and he was healed. When Jesus shows up, it’s the absolute

opposite of when the Pharisees show up. When the Pharisees and

the Sadducees and the wouldn’t-sees and couldn’t-sees show up,

they bring rocks! They’re ready to stone you to death for your

sins. When Jesus shows up, He forgives sin! It’s easy for Him to

forgive sin and heal the sick because it’s His nature and His purpose

to forgive.

In Mark 5:25-34, a woman had been

sick for twelve years with an issue of blood. She had spent all

that she had on medical doctors, who were unable to help her.

When she heard that Jesus was going to pass by, she said, “If I

can just touch the hem of His garment, I’m going to be made

whole.”

As the woman touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, the

power of God, the anointing of the Holy Spirit that was on the life

and the ministry of Jesus, flowed out of Him into her, and she was

made whole. He said to her, Go in peace, and be whole of thy

plague (Mark 5:34).

When Jesus shows up, He’ll heal you. It doesn’t matter

what you’re facing. You might have an incurable disease right

now, a disease that has been diagnosed as terminal. I want you to

know that Jesus still heals today. Hallelujah! He’s the same yesterday;

today, and forever. (See Hebrews 13:8.)

Jesus provides for us. In Matthew 14:15-21, Jesus had

been followed into a desert place by a multitude of people who

didn’t have anything to eat. He took a little boy’s lunch, blessed

it, and multiplied it. Then He fed thousands with five loaves and

two fishes. That’s what happens when Jesus shows up!
