Obstacles in Faith

God enables us to do His designer plan for our life. When we fall short of realizing the goals He has set for us, it isn’t as the Father did not provide required kit.

Instead, failure is mostly the results of a barrier in the heart, an angle or mixture of perspectives that short-circuits our religion. As a consequence, the flow of God’s power is obstructed, and we won’t become the person He wants us to be. Moses is a dramatic illustration of the disruptive potential of religion barriers. Called to one of the best missions in the Old Testament, the future leader of the Israelites answered with excuses for why he should not obey. Excuses for insubordination have not modified much since Moses’ experience with the burning bush. He attempted to cover behind the same 5 religion barriers believers use today : poor self-image ( 3:11-12 ), stupidity of God ( 3:13-21 ), self-doubt ( 4:1-9 ), feelings of inadequacy ( 4:10-11 ), and dread of failure ( 4:13-17 ) Thankfully, God’s reaction to religion barriers hasn’t modified since Old Testament days. Every time Moses objected that God asked the incorrect mana slow-tongued Midianite shepherd of slavery lineage, who murdered a person and became a fugitive. God replied with a firm but peaceful rebuttal. The theme of His answers is one we need to realize as Moses eventually did when we are called to serve, God will the work thru us. The Lord does not hunt down the best person for a job.

He calls men and women who are prepared to surrender themselves to Him.
